Adding serums to your routine
Getting the most out of your serum is easy. Simply cleanse, apply your eye care, then your serum. Finish with moisturiser, and SPF during the day.
“It is important not to mix your serum with moisturiser as the skin responds best to layering and identifying with ingredients in steps,” Kimberley advises.
For best results, use morning and night, gently pressing into the skin with fingertips, rather than rubbing for optimal absorption.
“A jade roller works even better at infusing the serum faster into the skin and stimulating circulation,” Kimberley says.
Make sure you chat to your endota therapists about the active ingredients present in your serum, as some can make skin more sensitive or cause irritation if you apply too much too soon.
“For first time serum users, we recommend our Age Defying Retinol Serum applied once or twice a week. Then slowly build up to a more regular daily use as your skin strength builds,” Kimberley suggests.
“However, retinol can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so you’ll have to make sure you use enough SPF during the day.”
