Indulge in a luxurious organic, vegan foot transformation! Begin with an aromatic foot soak followed by nail shaping, cuticle grooming, buffing of calluses plus foot and calf massage using Spa Ritual’s foot balm rich in aloe, tamanu oil and shea butter. Polish application included to finish beautifully cared-for toes.

What is different about a pedicure at The Spa Magnolia? Relax and receive your pedicure in a private treatment room rather than a group area where there are multiple people. If you would like to share the experience with someone please request our double room!

Gel Polish Removal

It has become a challenge for us to remove some of the newer and often unregulated products used in the nail bar market that are very difficult to soak off.  Our spa is not equipped with dremels (a sanding like device that mechanically buffs off the gel) as our approach is more holistic and exposing my staff to pure acetone more than needed is not what I want for them. Some of our guests are not even aware they have gel polish on and that it is not easily removed. Here are some tips for you!

A: When you had the polish applied the polish would have to be cured under a UV or LED light rather than drying naturally and is instantly dry to the touch.

 Soak off kits are available at most drugstores now or you may go back to where you had it applied as they will be familiar with the products they are using.

Our spa takes a holistic and health-conscious approach. We avoid using harsh chemicals like pure acetone and mechanical tools that could affect both your nail health and our staff’s wellness. Instead, we focus on gentle, rejuvenating treatments that restore and care for your feet.

  • The Spa Magnolia uses traditional polish for our pedicures and we are happy to remove regular polish prior to a treatment as it is not time consuming. Our approach is to spend the treatment time taking the very best care for your hands and feet!

To maintain results, let your polish dry completely before wearing closed-toe shoes. Apply a natural foot cream daily to keep skin hydrated. Avoid exfoliation for 24 hours and schedule regular pedicure appointments in Victoria, BC every 4–6 weeks for ongoing foot health.

Absolutely! We’re happy to finish your treatment with a natural buff shine if you prefer no polish.
This pedicure is approximately 60 minutes, allowing plenty of time for each step to be performed with care and attention.
We use Spa Ritual products, which are certified vegan and formulated with organic, plant-based ingredients—free from parabens, petrochemicals, and synthetic fragrances.
